I shouldn't really mention myself in the same breath as the incomparable Guardiola, Berry or Rattle but this is my blog so I'm going to! The comparison is valid only in that it highlights the fact that different people will get very different results from the same material. Give me Guardiola's players to manage and I would soon have Man City at the bottom of the Premiership, give me Mary Berry's ingredients and you wouldn't want a second slice of my cake, or give me the musicians in Simon Rattle's orchestra and you would be scurrying for the exit at the interval. On the other hand give me some random disjointed written material and I like to think I can give it a good structure and flow and, with a few ideas of my own, create a memorable speech.
